Philosophy

The will to win is important, but the will to prepare is vital.

Our Method

“The Maleeva Way” teaches our players how to play tennis with the easiness of the great champions.  We believe in discipline, hard work and perseverance.  We teach them patiently. “The Maleeva Way” is a lifelong heritage, gathered one match at a time by the Maleeva sisters and their mother on the courts of the big tennis stadiums.  To “The Maleeva Way” we add some of the most up-to-date methods of sports pedagogy.

Our Mission

Our mission is to inspire our young players, to teach them how to follow the hard road to fulfilling their dreams.  We teach them how to train regularly and wholeheartedly.  We teach them how to compete with the easiness of the great players.  We support their development with additional activities and sports psychology.  We want our players to have high morale and possess inner strength.  We help them attain their potential.  We want each one of them to be their own personality.

Positive Coaching Philosophy

This philosophy was not new to us, and we were implementing it in all the programs of our Club, including the Academy. We were doing it by intuition. We were inspiring the parents to do the same. Later on we got to know Jim Thompson’s, ideas and became members of his Positive Coaching Alliance Now our programs are structured entirely on building players who have triple impact: they develop themselves, their teammates and the game. Our focus is on building the player and the person. We support our parents to focus on the Big Picture and look at tennis as a possibility for developing their children.
